Within the orientation week shenanigans, we also have the possibility to get to know TEK (the trade union for professionals in the field of technology). This is a great chance to learn about TEK in a chill and relaxed environment — in the saunas! 🔥

The event takes place at Kummunsauna. First, TEK will give a presentation about their work and services for students. After that, there will be a chance to play games, hang out with friends, and go to the sauna. The tutors have also promised to bring some food! 🐭

If you wish to go to the sauna, take your own swimsuit and towel. Sauna shifts are divided into women’s, men’s, and mixed shifts.

The event at the sauna will last until 11 pm, after which you can continue the evening in the center of Kuopio! 🍺

How to find the sauna

The exact address is Kumpusaarentie 42, 70620 Kuopio. From the center, the easiest way is by bus. Buses 5 and 6 stop near the sauna (the closest bus stop is Kumpusaari E). From the bus stop, there is a short walk to the actual event place. Tutors will be around to point you in the right direction!
